Is the rapture biblical?
Those who teach the rapture most often quote 1 Thessalonians
chapter 4:16-17. In this study we are going to examine 2
Thessalonians chapter 2. There we will learn that the first
letter had caused some confusion among the Thessalonians. Many
had come to the conclusion that Christ could return at any
moment to gather His church. Paul strongly refutes this in the
second letter and he will tell us exactly what we should look
for before we can expect Christ to return. The rapture will not
stand ...Read the rest of this entry »
Pre-Christian American Technology
The Caral pyramids are older than the ones on Giza's Plateau
according to some academics. The mummies found in the Hebrides
and Canary Islands have similar interment procedures to those in
Peru. There are many things that show advanced technology
started in Peru and it is hard to know when it all began or what
kind of culture may have taught the white people known as the
Chachapoyas who were still the leaders of the Incas even though
history tells us they were defeated a short time before ...Read the rest of this entry »
The Temple of Love Unites Christianity Islam and Judaism Under
In case you hadn't noticed because you were too busy watching
Michael Jackson moonwalk on the roof of his car, or dangling his
new baby upside down off the top balcony of the Paris Hilton,
the Jewish, Muslim, and Christian people are currently engaged
in a World War against each other. The Muslim 911 was the first
shot. In retaliation the President of the United States
announced that he was launching a Crusade. As every Muslim
person knows, the Crusades were a thousand years ago when the
Pope ...Read the rest of this entry »
My wake-up call
I grew up in a very religious household. That is, if you
consider going to church twice every Sunday, starting each
normal day with prayer and a reading, saying grace before every
meal, avoiding bad things and situations, etc. as being very
religious. Growing up, we were always taught to "turn the other
cheek", "follow the path of the least resistance", "do unto
others..." - I think you catch my drift. At church we always
sang the same old hymns, averting our eyes, not smiling or
looking ...Read the rest of this entry »
The "Body Life"
The 'Body Life'
I titled this the 'Body Life' to contrast it to the traditional
church or home meeting. Christians get fixated on meetings ' the
where, when and how. They can see how the home meeting can be
intimate and participatory but can't imagine how it would work
in a larger meeting.
I would not have believed it if I hadn't experienced it for a
number of years ' meetings with upwards of 200 or 300 people or
more in a large hall that was totally unscripted because the
Holy Spirit was in ...Read the rest of this entry »

Interview with Barry Russo, These Are the Days By Lisa M. Hendey
I live with a fourteen year old who loves to spend his spare
time playing his electric guitar and has begun to work on his
own original compositions. As a parent and one who spends a lot
of time in the car listening to music with my kids, I was
thrilled to discover the music of Barry Russo, and particularly
his CD These Are the Days.
Barry, along with being an accomplished ...Read the rest of this entry »
